AACC promotes “Taste of Asia” Restaurant Month 2021 to support Asian Community Restaurants!

The Asian American Chamber of Commerce (AACC) promotes its first “Taste of Asia” Restaurant Month from June 1st until June 30thAACC will feature the “Member’s Choice” on their website where members have recommended their favorite restaurants to be promoted during the Chamber’s month-long event.  These featured restaurants will be on AACC’s website for diners to experience various cuisines that originate from the Asian-Pacific diaspora that graces our region.  While Restaurant Month allows the public to savor delicious Asian culinary options, it was enacted to primarily support area restaurants that have been hard hit economically by Pandemic conditions since March 2020 until present.  This focus allows AACC to further promote its “Respect and Unity” Campaign that celebrates cultural diversity and advocate for inclusion in light of the violence against Asian-Americans nationwide.  The love of “Food” unites us as individuals and builds bridges among peoples from all backgrounds to experience diverse cuisines that please the palate.  Supporting the AAPI business community is at the heart of the Chamber’s mission and Restaurant Month 2021 allows AACC to give back to Asian Restaurants that contribute to the unique dining experiences that make our DC Metro Region truly exceptional.

Each recommended restaurant may offer special discounts between 10% to 20% off when a diner mentions they were recommended by “AACC’s Member’s Choice Restaurant Month” to visit their establishment between June 1st and June 30th.   AACC is poised to connect area restaurants with a vast consumer base through our communication channels and in partnership with other area chambers to increase business during this event specifically geared to highlight our region’s best local Asian-Pacific cuisine options.  AACC’s Restaurant Month will feature close to 50 Greater Washington, D.C. area restaurants specially chosen by our members to ignite new consumers to explore the Asian dining experience and come back to dining out again as the economy opens up.
